Ingredients

  • Frozen acai packet – 2 packs about 200g
  • Frozen banana – 1 large
  • Frozen mixed berries – 1/2 cup
  • Milk almond or dairy – 1/2 cup
  • Honey or maple syrup – 1 tablespoon

Toppings:

  • Fresh banana slices – 1
  • Strawberries – 1/2 cup sliced
  • Granola – 1/4 cup
  • Chia seeds – 1 teaspoon
  • Coconut flakes – 1 tablespoon

Instructions

Prepare the frozen fruits

  • Take the frozen acai packets out of the freezer. Let them sit for one minute to soften slightly. This helps blending easier. Break them into small pieces before adding to blender.

Add ingredients to blender

  • Put the acai, frozen banana and mixed berries into the blender. Pour milk slowly. Add honey or maple syrup for sweetness. This will help create a smooth and creamy texture.

Blend until thick

  • Blend everything on high speed. Stop and scrape the sides if needed. The mixture should be thick like soft ice cream. Do not add too much liquid, or it becomes runny.

Pour into bowl

  • Once blended, quickly pour the mixture into serving bowls. Use a spoon to spread evenly. Work fast because the acai mixture melts quickly at room temperature.

Add toppings and serve

  • Top your bowl with banana slices, strawberries, granola, chia seeds and coconut flakes. Arrange nicely for a beautiful look. Serve immediately and enjoy your healthy acai bowl.

Notes

  • Use frozen fruits only for thick texture
  • Do not add too much milk
  • Blend in short bursts for better control
  • Add protein powder for extra nutrition
  • Try different fruits for variety
  • Serve immediately for best taste
  • Use a strong blender for smooth results
