Ingredients
  

  • Unsalted butter – 1 cup
  • Garlic cloves minced – 10 cloves
  • Cajun seasoning – 2 tablespoons
  • Old Bay seasoning – 1 tablespoon
  • Paprika – 1 tablespoon
  • Chili powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Red pepper flakes – 1 teaspoon
  • Brown sugar – 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice – 2 tablespoons
  • Chicken broth – ½ cup
  • Hot sauce – 2 tablespoons
  • Salt – to taste

Instructions
 

Melt the Butter

  • Add butter to a saucepan. Heat on low until fully melted. Stir gently to avoid burning.

Add Garlic

  • Add minced garlic to melted butter. Cook for one minute. Stir until fragrant, not brown.

Mix Dry Spices

  • Add Cajun seasoning, Old Bay, paprika, chili powder and pepper flakes. Stir until well mixed.

Add Sweet and Sour

  • Add brown sugar and lemon juice. Stir slowly. Let flavors blend for one minute.

Pour Broth and Sauce

  • Add chicken broth and hot sauce. Stir well. Let sauce simmer for five minutes.

Adjust Taste

  • Taste the sauce carefully. Add salt if needed. Adjust spice using hot sauce.

Finish and Serve

  • Remove from heat. Let sauce cool slightly. Use over seafood or serve warm.
