Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk dairy or plant-based
  • 1 apple peeled and diced
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 –2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: nuts or dried fruits for topping

Instructions
 

Prepare the Apple

  • Peel and dice the apple into small pieces. Keep some slices for topping if desired.

Mix Oats and Milk

  • In a mason jar or bowl, add oats and milk. Stir to combine evenly.

Add Chia Seeds and Cinnamon

  • Add chia seeds and ground cinnamon to the mixture. Mix well for flavor and texture.

Add Sweetener and Vanilla

  • Add honey or maple syrup and vanilla extract. Stir gently to blend everything smoothly.

Add Apple Pieces

  • Add diced apple into the jar. Mix lightly so apples are evenly spread in the oats.

Cover and Refrigerate

  • Cover the jar with a lid or plastic wrap. Place in the fridge overnight or at least 6 hours.

Serve and Top

  • In the morning, stir the oats. Top with reserved apple slices, nuts, or dried fruits. Serve chilled.
