  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips optional

Instructions

Preheat Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper for easy removal.

Mix Butter and Sugar

  • In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar. Stir until smooth and fully combined for a sweet, rich base.

Add Eggs and Vanilla

  • Add eggs one at a time. Stir well. Mix in vanilla extract until the batter is smooth.

Combine Dry Ingredients

  • In a separate bowl, mix cocoa powder, flour, salt and baking powder. Stir to combine evenly.

Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients

Bake the Brownies

  • Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Cool and Serve

Notes

  • Use high-quality cocoa powder for best chocolate flavor.
  • Do not overbake to keep brownies fudgy.
  • Let them cool slightly before slicing for neat pieces.
  • Add nuts or chocolate chunks for texture.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container to keep moist.
