- Preheat the oven to 350°F. 
- Grease a baking dish with butter. 
- Heat butter in a pan on medium until fully melted. 
- Add onions and celery. Cook until soft. 
- In a large bowl, add crumbled cornbread. 
- Add the cooked onions and celery. 
- Add the seasonings: salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, sage and thyme. 
- Stir well until mixed. 
- Pour in the chicken broth and stir again. 
- Add beaten eggs and mix well. 
- Pour the mix into the greased baking dish. 
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown. 
- Take it out of the oven and let it cool. 
- Serve warm and enjoy.
