Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups  Coconut milk
  • 2 cups  Glutinous rice flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • Coconut Grated (for topping)
  • Banana leaves (for wrapping)

Instructions
 

  • Combine rice flour, sugar, and coconut milk for a smooth batter.
  • Cut banana leaves, and heat for flexibility.
  • Spoon batter onto a leaf, add coconut if desired.
  • Fold the leaf into a pouch, and secure the edges with toothpicks.
  • Steam pouches for 30-40 minutes until the rice cake is done.
  • Cool binalay before serving.
