Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin powder
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

Prepare Gelatin

  • Pour cold water into a small bowl. Sprinkle gelatin on top. Let it bloom for five minutes. It will absorb water and become thick.

Heat Milk

  • In a saucepan, pour milk and sugar. Heat over low flame. Stir constantly until sugar dissolves. Do not let milk boil.

Add Gelatin

  • Remove milk from heat. Add bloomed gelatin into warm milk. Stir gently until completely dissolved.

Mix Condensed Milk

  • Add sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract. Stir until fully combined. Mixture should be smooth and creamy.

Pour Into Molds

  • Carefully pour mixture into silicone or plastic molds. Fill evenly. Tap molds gently to remove air bubbles.

Chill in Refrigerator

  • Place molds in fridge for at least three hours. Jello should set completely. Check firmness by gently pressing the surface.

Unmold and Serve

  • Dip molds in warm water for a few seconds. Gently remove jello onto serving plates. Serve immediately or keep chilled.

Notes

  • Use whole milk for best creamy texture
  • Do not boil milk to avoid curdling
  • Bloom gelatin properly for smooth jello
  • Chill long enough to fully set
  • Add vanilla or fruit flavor for variety
