Ingredients
  

  • 1 oz Scotch whisky
  • 1 oz sweet vermouth
  • 1 oz cherry liqueur like Cherry Heering
  • 1 oz fresh orange juice
  • Orange peel for garnish
  • Maraschino cherry for garnish
  • Ice cubes

Instructions
 

Add Ice to Shaker

  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. This chills the drink fast.

Measure the Ingredients

  • Measure Scotch, vermouth, cherry liqueur and orange juice. Add to the shaker.

Shake Well

  • Shake the mixture for 10–15 seconds. Shake until the shaker feels cold.

Strain into Glass

  • Strain the drink into a chilled martini or coupe glass. Leave ice behind.

Add Orange Peel

  • Twist the orange peel over the glass. This releases oils and adds aroma.

Garnish with Cherry

  • Place a maraschino cherry in the glass. It makes the drink look elegant.

Serve Immediately

  • Serve the cocktail right away. Enjoy it while it is cold and fresh.
