- 1 pound fresh green beans trimmed
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 slices smoked bacon chopped
- 1 small onion diced
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 cup chicken broth
Wash green beans under cold water.
Cut green beans into small pieces.
Heat pot on medium heat.
Add bacon and cook until fat comes out.
Add onion and cook until soft.
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Add green beans and stir well.
Sprinkle salt, pepper, and paprika.
Pour in chicken broth and stir.
Cover and cook for 15 minutes.
Stir halfway while cooking.
Remove the lid and let sauce get less.
Taste and add more salt if needed.
Serve warm and enjoy.
