Ingredients

  • 12 slices bologna
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
  • 8 –10 round crackers for the base
  • Fresh parsley or dill for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Base

  • Place round crackers on the serving plate or cake pan. This will act as the bottom layer of the Bologna Cake. Make sure they form a solid base.

Mix Cream Cheese Filling

  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, garlic powder and onion powder. Stir until smooth and creamy. This will be your flavorful filling.

Layer Bologna

  • Place 3–4 slices of bologna over the cracker base. Overlap slightly so the cake will hold together. Smooth the edges to make the layer even.

Add Cream Cheese Filling

  • Spread about 1/4 of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the bologna layer. Make sure it covers the entire layer to stick the next bologna slices.

Repeat Layers

  • Continue layering bologna and cream cheese mixture until all slices are used. End with cream cheese on the top layer for decoration.

Add Toppings

  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Add sliced green onions and finely chopped red bell pepper. These add color, flavor, and crunch to your cake.

Chill the Cake

  • Cover the Bologna Cake with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. This helps the layers set and makes slicing easier.

Garnish and Serve

  • Before serving, decorate with fresh parsley or dill. Slice carefully and serve with crackers. Enjoy your savory, fun and creative Bologna Cake!

Notes

  • Use good-quality bologna for best flavor.
  • Soften cream cheese at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • Chill the cake before slicing to prevent layers from falling.
  • You can add pickles or olives for extra flavor.
  • Use a sharp knife for clean slices.
