Ingredients
  

  • 500 g All-purpose flour
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 75 Unsalted butter (softened)
  • 250 ml  Warm milk
  • 10 g Active dry yeast
  • 75 Sugar
  • Choose your favorite jam or sweet filling
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Activate yeast in warm milk; wait 5 mins until frothy.
  • Combine flour, sugar, and salt; make a well in the center.
  • Pour yeast mix, add butter, and beaten eggs; mix into dough.
  • Knead on a floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth.
  • Place in a greased bowl; cover, let rise 1-2 hours.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Punch down dough; divide, flatten, add filling, shape.
  • Place on sheet, cover, and let rise for 30 mins.
  • Bake for 15-20 mins until golden brown.
  • Optional: Brush with melted butter for a glossy finish.

Notes

  • Make sure it's warm, not hot, for the yeast.
  • Let the dough get big; don't rush it.
