Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small head cabbage chopped
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes 14.5 oz
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes optional

Instructions
 

Cook the Beef

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Break it apart with a spoon while cooking.

Add Onion and Garlic

  • Add chopped onion and garlic. Cook for 2–3 minutes until soft and fragrant.

Add the Cabbage

  • Add the chopped cabbage to the pan. Stir well so it mixes with the beef.

Add Tomatoes and Spices

  • Pour in diced tomatoes with their juice. Add salt, pepper, paprika, and chili flakes. Mix everything together.

Cover and Cook

  • Cover the skillet and reduce heat to medium-low. Let it cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring sometimes, until the cabbage is tender.

Taste and Adjust

  • Taste and add more salt or pepper if needed.

Serve Hot

  • Serve warm and enjoy your hearty cabbage and hamburger meal!

Notes

  • Use lean beef for less grease.
  • Add a splash of soy sauce for deeper flavor.
  • For extra heat, use hot paprika or red chili flakes.
  • You can add cooked rice or noodles to make it a full meal.
