Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz bucatini pasta
  • 8 oz steak sirloin or ribeye
  • 8 oz shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp Calabrian chili paste
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • ½ cup pasta water kept aside
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Grated parmesan for topping

Instructions
 

  • Boil water in a big pot with salt.
  • Cook bucatini pasta until soft but firm.
  • Drain and keep half cup pasta water.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan.
  • Cook steak, then slice into thin pieces.
  • In the same pan, cook shrimp and garlic.
  • Add chili paste and cherry tomatoes.
  • Mix in pasta and pasta water.
  • Add steak slices and parsley.
  • Serve hot with parmesan on top.

Notes

  • Use fresh shrimp for best taste.
  • Do not overcook the pasta.
  • Add chili paste slowly for spice control.
  • Rest steak before cutting.
  • Keep pasta water to fix sauce.
