- 12 oz bucatini pasta
- 8 oz steak sirloin or ribeye
- 8 oz shrimp peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 2 tbsp Calabrian chili paste
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
- ½ cup pasta water kept aside
- 2 tbsp parsley chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Grated parmesan for topping
- Boil water in a big pot with salt. 
- Cook bucatini pasta until soft but firm. 
- Drain and keep half cup pasta water. 
- Heat olive oil in a pan. 
- Cook steak, then slice into thin pieces. 
- In the same pan, cook shrimp and garlic. 
- Add chili paste and cherry tomatoes. 
- Mix in pasta and pasta water. 
- Add steak slices and parsley. 
- Serve hot with parmesan on top. 
- Use fresh shrimp for best taste.
- Do not overcook the pasta.
- Add chili paste slowly for spice control.
- Rest steak before cutting.
- Keep pasta water to fix sauce.
