Ingredients

  • 1 large head cauliflower chopped into small pieces
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup vegetable or chicken broth

Instructions

Prepare the Cauliflower

  • Chop the cauliflower into small pieces. Make each piece small for even cooking and better texture.

Melt the Butter

  • Heat a large skillet on medium heat. Add butter and let it melt slowly for rich flavor.

Cook the Onion and Celery

  • Add onion and celery to the skillet. Stir and cook until soft and fragrant.

Add the Mushrooms

  • Mix in the mushrooms. Cook until soft and slightly browned for deeper flavor.

Add the Cauliflower

  • Place chopped cauliflower into the skillet. Stir well so the veggies mix nicely.

Season the Mixture

  • Add thyme, sage, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir gently to coat everything.

Add the Broth

  • Pour broth into the skillet. Cook until cauliflower becomes soft and absorbs the flavors.

Simmer the Stuffing

  • Cover the skillet. Let it simmer for a few minutes for better flavor blending.

Check the Texture

  • Make sure the cauliflower is soft. Add a little more broth if you want softer stuffing.

Serve Warm

  • Move the stuffing to a serving dish. Serve warm with your holiday meal.

Notes

  • Cut cauliflower into small pieces for fast and even cooking.
  • Add more broth for a softer stuffing texture.
  • Use fresh herbs for stronger flavor if available.
  • Add cooked sausage for a richer taste.
  • Do not overcook the cauliflower. Keep it soft but not mushy.
