Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons chamoy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice fresh
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder like Tajín
  • 2 teaspoons honey or simple syrup
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: 1/2 cup mango juice

Instructions

Prepare the Glass Rim

  • Take a lime wedge and rub it around the rim of each shot glass. Dip the rim into chili powder. This adds flavor and gives a nice look.

Mix the Base

  • In a mixing bowl or shaker, add chamoy sauce, lime juice and honey. Stir well until everything is fully combined and smooth.

Add Optional Juice

  • If using mango juice, pour it into the mixture. This adds sweetness and balances the spicy flavor. Mix again gently.

Add Ice and Shake

  • Add a few ice cubes to the shaker. Shake well for 10–15 seconds. This chills the drink and blends the flavors perfectly.

Pour into Glasses

  • Strain the mixture into prepared shot glasses. Fill each glass evenly. Make sure the chili rim stays clean and neat.

Garnish and Serve

  • Add a small lime wedge or mango slice on the side. Serve immediately while cold for best taste and freshness.

Notes

  • Use fresh lime juice for best flavor
  • Adjust chili powder for spice level
  • Chill glasses before serving
  • Use good quality chamoy sauce
  • Do not skip the rim for full experience
  • Add fruit juice for a sweeter taste
