Ingredients
  

  • 2 chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg beaten
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Prepare Chicken Pieces

  • Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. Pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

Mix Cheese and Chicken

  • In a bowl, combine chicken pieces with shredded cheddar cheese. Make sure cheese sticks to chicken evenly.

Season the Chicken

  • Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the chicken mixture. Mix gently to coat.

Prepare Coating Bowls

  • Place flour in one bowl, beaten egg in another and breadcrumbs in a third bowl for coating.

Coat Chicken in Flour

  • Roll each chicken piece in flour first. Make sure all sides are covered for better crispiness.

Dip in Egg

  • After flour, dip chicken pieces into the beaten egg. This helps breadcrumbs stick better.

Coat in Breadcrumbs

  • Roll chicken pieces in breadcrumbs until fully coated. Press lightly to secure the coating.

Heat Oil

  • Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan. Heat on medium until hot but not smoking.

Fry Chicken Nuggets

  • Carefully place chicken pieces in hot oil. Fry 3–5 minutes per side until golden and crispy.

Drain Excess Oil

  • Remove nuggets from oil using tongs. Place on paper towels to remove extra oil.

Serve Warm

  • Serve hot while cheese is melted inside. Perfect with your favorite dipping sauces.
