- 2 lbs chicken wings or drumettes
- 3 potatoes peeled and chopped
- 1 large onion sliced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 –2 limes juiced
- 1 Scotch bonnet or jalapeño optional for heat
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp allspice or whole allspice berries
- 2 bay leaves
- 6 cups water
- Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish
Clean and Prep the Chicken
Add Chicken to the Pot
Place chicken in a pot with water.
Add salt, pepper, garlic, allspice, and bay leaves.
Serve
Garnish with parsley.
Serve hot in bowls.
