Ingredients
  

  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ cup shredded cheese optional

Instructions
 

Prepare the Peppers

  • Cut the tops off the peppers. Remove seeds and white parts. Rinse under water and set aside.

Cook the Chicken

  • Heat olive oil in a pan. Add onions and garlic. Cook until soft. Add chicken and stir well.

Mix the Filling

  • Add cooked rice, tomato sauce, paprika, salt and pepper. Stir until ingredients are well combined.

Stuff the Peppers

  • Spoon the chicken mixture into the peppers. Fill them well but do not overpack. Place in a baking dish.

Bake the Peppers

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cover with foil. Bake for 25 minutes until peppers are soft.

Add Cheese

  • Remove foil and sprinkle cheese on top. Bake for 5 more minutes until cheese melts. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use fresh bell peppers for best taste.
  • Do not overcook chicken; it becomes dry.
  • You can add other vegetables like corn or carrots.
  • Try different cheese types for variety.
  • Let peppers cool a little before serving.
