Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Optional: chocolate sauce caramel, or syrup for topping

Instructions
 

Mix Dry Ingredients

  • In a bowl, combine flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Whisk evenly.

Mix Wet Ingredients

  • In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter and vanilla extract until smooth.

Combine Wet and Dry

  • Pour wet ingredients into dry. Stir gently until just combined. Don’t overmix for fluffy pancakes.

Preheat Pan

  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or oil.

Cook Pancakes

  • Pour 1/4 cup batter per pancake. Cook 2–3 minutes until bubbles appear. Flip and cook 1–2 minutes.

Prepare Cinnamon Sugar

  • In a small plate, mix 1/4 cup sugar with 1 teaspoon cinnamon for coating.

Coat Pancakes

  • Brush pancakes lightly with melted butter. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar generously on top.

Serve Warm

  • Stack pancakes on a plate. Drizzle with chocolate sauce, caramel or syrup if desired.

Notes

  • Don’t overmix batter to keep pancakes soft and fluffy.
  • Use medium heat for even cooking and golden color.
  • Adjust cinnamon sugar to taste. Add more for stronger flavor.
  • Serve immediately for best texture and taste.
