Ingredients
  

  • 1 ciabatta roll split in half
  • 4 slices of turkey or ham
  • 2 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup roasted red peppers sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1/4 avocado sliced
  • Optional: 1 small tomato sliced

Instructions
 

Make the sauce

  • Mix mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Stir until smooth.

Prepare the bread

  • Slice the ciabatta roll in half. Toast it lightly in a skillet.

Add sauce to bread

  • Spread the sauce on both bread halves.

Layer the meat

  • Place turkey or ham on the bottom half.

Add cheese

  • Put provolone cheese over the meat.

Add veggies

  • Add roasted peppers, spinach, tomato and avocado.

Season the sandwich

  • Sprinkle black pepper over the fillings.

Warm the sandwich

  • Place the sandwich in a skillet. Heat until cheese melts slightly.

Serve and enjoy

  • Cut the sandwich in half. Serve it warm and crunchy.
