Ingredients

  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1 can whole corn kernels drained
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Mix Wet Ingredients

  • Whisk eggs, melted butter, milk and sugar until smooth and well combined in a large bowl.

Add Corn

  • Add cream-style corn and whole corn kernels. Mix gently until everything blends well together.

Add Dry Ingredients

  • Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir slowly to avoid lumps in the mixture.

Prepare Baking Dish

  • Grease a baking dish with butter or oil. Make sure the whole dish is coated well.

Pour Batter

  • Pour the corn pudding mixture into the greased dish. Smooth the top with a spatula evenly.

Bake Pudding

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 45 minutes until golden brown.

Check Doneness

  • Insert a knife in the center. If it comes out clean, the pudding is done perfectly.

Cool Slightly

  • Let the pudding rest for a few minutes. This helps it set and keeps the shape.

Serve Warm

  • Cut into squares or scoop with a spoon. Serve warm for the best flavor.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the batter.
  • Use room-temperature eggs for better texture.
  • Add a little vanilla for a sweeter flavor.
  • Add cheese if you want a savory version.
  • Bake until golden for a crisp top layer.
