Ingredients

  • 2 cups cheese tortellini fresh or frozen
  • 300 g steak cut into bite-size pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper cracked
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Tortellini

  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add tortellini and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. Do not overcook to keep the texture soft but firm.

Prepare the Steak

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak pieces in a single layer. Cook until browned on all sides. Remove from skillet and keep aside.

Sauté the Garlic

  • In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Cook for about one minute until fragrant. Stir constantly so garlic does not burn or turn bitter.

Make the Creamy Sauce

  • Add heavy cream and beef broth into the skillet. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer. Let the sauce thicken slightly while mixing continuously.

Add Seasonings

  • Add cracked black pepper, salt, paprika and Italian seasoning. Mix well. This step gives the dish its bold and rich flavor profile.

Combine Everything

  • Add cooked tortellini and steak back into the skillet. Toss everything gently in the sauce. Make sure all pieces are coated evenly with creamy mixture.

Finish and Serve

  • Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top. Stir until melted. Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot for best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • Use fresh tortellini for better taste and texture.
  • Do not overcook steak to keep it tender.
  • Add chili flakes if you like spicy flavor.
  • Use freshly grated parmesan for best results.
  • Stir sauce gently to keep it smooth and creamy.
