Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup fresh or canned whole cranberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Crackers or bread for serving

Instructions

Soften the Cream Cheese

  • Leave cream cheese at room temperature for 20 minutes. Soft cheese mixes easily with other ingredients.

Prepare the Cranberries

  • If using fresh cranberries, rinse and dry them. You can chop them slightly for smaller bites.

Mix Cream Cheese and Sugar

  • Put cream cheese in a bowl. Add sugar and mix with a spoon until smooth.

Add Cranberries and Zest

  • Add cranberries and orange zest to the cream cheese. Mix gently so berries stay whole.

Add Vanilla Extract

  • Pour in vanilla extract. Stir everything until fully combined and creamy.

Transfer to Serving Bowl

  • Move the dip into a small serving bowl. Smooth the top with a spoon.

Chill if Needed

  • You can serve immediately or chill in fridge for 30 minutes. Chilling improves flavor.

Serve with Crackers or Bread

  • Place crackers or bread around the bowl. Scoop dip and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use softened cream cheese for smooth texture.
  • Fresh cranberries are tart; add extra sugar if needed.
  • Orange zest makes the dip taste brighter and fresher.
  • You can add chopped nuts for crunch.
  • Serve chilled or at room temperature depending on preference.
