Ingredients
  

  • Chicken tenders 500 g
  • Cornflakes 2 cups
  • All-purpose flour 1/2 cup
  • Eggs 2, beaten
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika 1/2 teaspoon, optional
  • Garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon, optional
  • Cooking spray or oil

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Crush the Cornflakes

  • Put cornflakes in a food processor. Crush into small pieces. Use zip bag and rolling pin if needed.

Season the Chicken

  • Sprinkle salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder on chicken tenders. Mix well to coat evenly.

Prepare Flour and Eggs

  • Place flour in one bowl and beaten eggs in another. These help cornflakes stick better.

Coat Chicken in Flour

  • Dredge each chicken tender in flour. Shake off excess flour for a light coating.

Dip in Egg

  • Dip floured chicken into beaten eggs. Make sure it is fully coated with egg mixture.

Roll in Cornflakes

  • Roll chicken tenders in crushed cornflakes. Press lightly to stick well.

Place on Tray

  • Arrange coated chicken on prepared baking tray. Do not overcrowd.

Spray with Oil

  • Lightly spray or brush oil on chicken. This makes it golden and crispy in the oven.

Bake Until Golden

  • Bake for 18–20 minutes. Turn halfway through for even crispiness. Serve hot.

  • Use fresh chicken for best results.
  • Crush cornflakes finely but leave some bigger pieces for extra crunch.
