Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Lions Mane mushrooms
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 2 cups cooking oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Clean the Lions Mane mushrooms gently with a damp cloth.
  • Tear mushrooms into medium bite-sized pieces.
  • In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper.
  • In another bowl, whisk eggs with cold water.
  • Dip mushrooms into the egg mixture first.
  • Coat mushrooms well in the flour mixture.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan to medium-high.
  • Fry mushrooms until golden and crispy.
  • Remove and place on paper towels to drain oil.
