Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb 450 g boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 jar 24 oz Alfredo sauce or homemade cream sauce
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups cheese tortellini uncooked
  • 1 cup spinach optional
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken

  • Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Set aside.

Add Ingredients to Crockpot

  • Place chicken, Alfredo sauce, chicken broth and olive oil in the crockpot. Mix lightly.

Cook the Chicken

  • Cover crockpot. Cook on low for 3–4 hours until chicken is tender and cooked through.

Shred the Chicken

  • Remove chicken from crockpot. Shred with two forks. Return shredded chicken to crockpot.

Add Tortellini

  • Stir in uncooked cheese tortellini. Cook on high for 15–20 minutes until tender.

Add Spinach

  • Add spinach leaves. Stir gently until wilted and mixed into creamy sauce.

Add Parmesan Cheese

  • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese. Stir until melted and well combined for extra creaminess.

Adjust Seasoning

  • Taste and add extra salt, pepper or Italian seasoning if needed before serving.

Serve Hot

  • Ladle Crockpot Chicken Tortellini into bowls. Top with extra Parmesan or fresh parsley.
