Ingredients

  • Pork chops – 4 pieces bone-in or boneless
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper – ½ teaspoon
  • Garlic powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder – 1 teaspoon
  • All-purpose flour – 2 tablespoons
  • Cream of mushroom soup – 1 can 10.5 oz
  • Chicken broth – 1 cup
  • Onion – 1 large sliced
  • Butter – 2 tablespoons
  • Worcestershire sauce – 1 tablespoon

Instructions

Season the pork chops

  • Pat the pork chops dry using paper towels. Sprinkle salt, black pepper, garlic powder and onion powder on both sides. Rub the seasoning well. This step adds deep flavor to the meat.

Lightly coat with flour

  • Place flour in a shallow plate. Coat each pork chop lightly with flour. Shake off extra flour. This helps create a nice texture and thickens the gravy while cooking.

Sear the pork chops (optional)

  • Heat a skillet on medium heat. Add butter and let it melt. Place pork chops in the pan. Cook each side for 2–3 minutes until lightly golden. This step adds extra flavor.

Prepare the gravy mixture

  • In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup and chicken broth. Add Worcestershire sauce and whisk well. Make sure the mixture is smooth and lump-free. This will be your rich gravy base.

Layer ingredients in crockpot

  • Place sliced onions at the bottom of the crockpot. Add pork chops on top. Pour the gravy mixture over the pork chops. Make sure everything is well covered.

Slow cook to perfection

  • Cover the crockpot with a lid. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3–4 hours. The pork chops will become tender. The gravy will turn thick and flavorful.

Check and serve

  • Once cooked, check the tenderness of pork chops. They should be soft and easy to cut. Stir the gravy gently. Serve hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • Use bone-in pork chops for more flavor and juiciness.
  • Do not skip seasoning. It makes a big difference.
  • Searing is optional but adds extra taste.
  • Cook on low heat for best tender results.
  • Add mushrooms for extra texture and flavor.
