Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup diced ham
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a muffin tin with oil or spray. This helps prevent sticking and makes it easier to remove the egg bites after baking.

Prepare the Egg Mixture

  • Crack eggs into a mixing bowl. Add milk, salt and pepper. Whisk well until smooth and slightly frothy. This helps create soft and fluffy egg bites.

Add Fillings

  • Add diced ham, cheese, bell peppers and onions to the egg mixture. Mix gently so everything spreads evenly. This ensures every bite has balanced flavor.

Fill the Muffin Cups

  • Pour the mixture into the muffin tin. Fill each cup about three-quarters full. Do not overfill, as eggs will rise while baking.

Bake the Egg Bites

  • Place the muffin tin in the oven. Bake for 15–18 minutes. The egg bites should be set and slightly golden on top.

Cool Before Serving

  • Remove from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes. This helps them firm up and makes removal easier.

Remove and Enjoy

  • Carefully remove the egg bites from the tin. Serve warm or store for later use. Enjoy your homemade breakfast bites.

Notes

  • Use fresh eggs for better texture.
  • Chop vegetables into small pieces for even cooking.
  • Do not overbake to keep them soft.
  • Add a little cream for richer taste.
  • Use silicone muffin cups for easy removal.
  • Mix ingredients well for balanced flavor.
