Ingredients

  • ½ cup coffee grounds fresh or used
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon optional

Instructions

Melt Coconut Oil

  • If solid, melt coconut oil slightly. Use warm water or microwave. Pour into a mixing bowl.

Add Coffee Grounds

  • Add coffee grounds to the bowl. Mix with coconut oil until evenly combined and smooth.

Add Sugar

  • Stir in brown sugar. Mix well. Sugar adds extra scrubbing power for gentle exfoliation.

Add Vanilla and Cinnamon

  • Add vanilla extract and cinnamon if desired. Stir to blend the flavors into the scrub.

Mix Well

  • Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Ensure coffee, sugar and oil are combined evenly for best results.

Fill the Jar

  • Spoon the scrub into a clean glass jar. Press gently to pack. Close the lid tightly.

Ready to Use

  • Use a small amount on wet skin in the shower. Massage gently in circular motions. Rinse with warm water.

Notes

  • Use fresh or lightly used coffee grounds for best results.
  • Do not use hot water when applying; warm or cold water is fine.
  • Adjust coconut oil for desired scrub texture; more oil for softer scrub.
  • Use sugar for extra exfoliation if skin is not sensitive.
  • Store in a cool, dry place to keep scrub fresh.
