Materials

  • Mango butter – ½ cup
  • Kokum butter – ¼ cup
  • Sweet almond oil – ¼ cup
  • Vitamin E oil – 1 teaspoon
  • Essential oil – 10 drops optional

Instructions

Melt the Butters

  • Add mango butter and kokum butter to a heat-safe bowl. Place bowl over simmering water.

Stir Gently

  • Stir the butters slowly until fully melted. Do not overheat. Remove from heat.

Add Liquid Oils

  • Pour sweet almond oil into melted mixture. Stir gently until well combined.

Cool the Mixture

  • Let mixture cool at room temperature. It should start looking slightly cloudy.

Add Vitamin E

  • Add vitamin E oil and essential oil. Mix well for even blending.

Whip the Butter

  • Use a hand whisk or mixer. Whip until light, fluffy, and creamy.

Transfer to Jar

  • Spoon whipped butter into a clean jar. Smooth the top gently.

Let It Set

  • Let body butter set for one hour. Close lid tightly after setting.

Notes

  • Always use clean, dry tools.
  • Do not add water to the mixture.
  • Store away from direct sunlight.
  • Use gentle essential oils only.
  • Whip longer for lighter texture.
