Ingredients
  

  • Boneless chicken 500 grams, sliced
  • Cornflour 4 tablespoons
  • All-purpose flour 2 tablespoons
  • Egg 1 large
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
  • Oil for frying

For the Sauce:

  • Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Green chilies 2, sliced
  • Onion 1 medium, sliced
  • Bell peppers 1 cup, mixed colors
  • Soy sauce 2 tablespoons
  • Chili sauce 2 tablespoons
  • Tomato ketchup 2 tablespoons
  • Sugar 1 teaspoon
  • Vinegar 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds 1 teaspoon

Instructions
 

Marinate the Chicken

  • Add chicken, salt, pepper, chili powder, egg, cornflour and flour. Mix well until coated evenly.

Heat Oil

  • Heat oil in a deep pan. Keep medium heat so chicken fries evenly without burning.

Fry the Chicken

  • Add chicken pieces carefully. Fry until golden and crispy. Remove and place on paper towel.

Prepare the Sauce Base

  • Heat two tablespoons oil in a wok. Add garlic and green chilies. Stir until fragrant.

Add Onions

  • Add sliced onions. Stir fry until slightly soft but still crunchy.

Add Bell Peppers

  • Add bell peppers to the wok. Toss quickly to keep them colorful and crisp.

Mix Sauces

  • Add soy sauce, chili sauce and ketchup. Stir well so sauces blend smoothly.

Balance the Flavor

  • Add sugar and vinegar. Mix well to balance spicy, sweet and tangy taste.

Add Fried Chicken

  • Add fried chicken to the sauce. Toss gently until chicken is fully coated.

Add Sesame Seeds

  • Sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Toss once more for extra flavor and crunch.

Adjust Seasoning

  • Taste the dish carefully. Add salt or chili sauce if needed.

Rest Briefly

  • Turn off heat and let the chicken rest for two minutes before serving.

Garnish and Serve

  • Serve hot with spring onions on top. Enjoy the bold dragon-style flavors.
