This Easy DIY Aroma Stones Recipe is fun, simple and perfect for making your home smell amazing. Aroma stones are small, decorative stones that soak up essential oils.
Ingredients
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water
- Essential oils of your choice 5–10 drops per stone
- Food coloring optional
- Small decorative molds hearts, stars, circles
Instructions
Mix Dry Ingredients
- In a mixing bowl, combine baking soda and cornstarch. Stir gently until well blended and smooth.
Add Water
- Slowly pour water into the dry mixture. Stir constantly to avoid lumps and get a smooth paste.
Add Colors
- If you want colored stones, add a few drops of food coloring. Mix until color is evenly spread.
Add Essential Oils
- Add 5–10 drops of your favorite essential oil. Mix thoroughly so every stone will smell nice.
Pour Into Molds
- Spoon the mixture into silicone molds. Press gently to fill every corner and remove air bubbles.
Let Stones Dry
- Leave the molds at room temperature. Let the stones dry for 24–48 hours until firm.
Remove From Molds
- Carefully pop the stones out of molds. They should be solid, dry, and ready to use or gift.
