Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup elderberry syrup homemade or store-bought
  • 1/4 cup raw honey or maple syrup for vegan option
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons gelatin powder or agar-agar for vegan option
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon lemon juice for extra flavor

Instructions
 

Step 1. Warm the Liquid

  • In a saucepan, combine elderberry syrup and water. Warm gently over low heat. Do not boil.

Step 2. Add Sweetener

  • Stir in raw honey (or maple syrup). Mix until smooth.

Step 3. Whisk in Gelatin

  • Slowly sprinkle gelatin into the warm mixture while whisking constantly. Stir until completely dissolved and smooth.

Step 4. Pour into Molds

  • Use a dropper or spoon to pour mixture into silicone molds.

Step 5. Set and Chill

  • Place molds in the fridge for 2–3 hours until firm.

Step 6. Remove and Store

  • Pop gummies out of molds and store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Notes

  • Don’t boil elderberry syrup; heat gently to keep nutrients.
  • For vegan gummies, swap gelatin with agar-agar.
  • Use fun-shaped silicone molds to make them kid-friendly.
  • Add lemon juice for a tangy twist.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
