Ingredients
  

  • Egg
  • 1 pound  Blue crab meat (fresh)
  • 1/2 cup  Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup  Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice (fresh)
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a large bowl, gently mix crab meat, Worcestershire, Old Bay, Dijon, lemon, mayonnaise, breadcrumbs, egg, pepper, and salt.
  • Form 4-6 evenly sized patties.
  • Over medium-high heat, heat vegetable oil in a  skillet.
  • Place crab cakes in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • Bake crab cakes for 10-15 minutes longer until cooked through on a baking sheet.
  • You can serve it hot with any sauce or side dish of your choice.

Notes

  • Use the freshest crab meat and good seasonings for a real Faidley's experience.
  • To get a golden crust, cook the crab cakes in a hot pan with butter.
