  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Mix Dry Ingredients

  • Add flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into a bowl. Whisk until evenly mixed.

Mix Wet Ingredients

  • In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter and vanilla until smooth.

Combine Mixtures

  • Pour wet mixture into dry mixture. Stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix.

Rest the Batter

Heat the Pan

Pour the Batter

  • Pour batter onto hot pan using a ladle. Leave space between pancakes.

Watch for Bubbles

  • Cook until bubbles appear on top. Edges should look set.

Flip Carefully

  • Flip pancakes gently using a spatula. Cook until golden brown.

Finish Cooking

  • Remove pancakes from pan. Keep warm while cooking remaining batter.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the batter.
  • Use fresh baking powder always.
  • Cook on medium heat only.
  • Let batter rest before cooking.
  • Flip pancakes only once.
