Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas sliced
  • 2 cups vanilla pudding store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered

Instructions

Make the Pudding

  • If you’re using homemade pudding, prepare it first. Chill it for at least 30 minutes so it’s firm.

Add Bananas

  • Fold the banana slices gently into the pudding. Mix until they blend well but don’t mash them.

Shape and Freeze

  • Scoop small balls of the banana pudding mix. Place them on a tray and freeze for 1 hour. This helps them hold shape during frying.

Prepare the Coating

  • Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs and milk, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with crushed wafers.

Coat Each Pudding Ball

  • Take each frozen pudding ball. Roll in flour, dip in egg mix, and coat with the crumb mixture. Make sure it’s fully covered.

Heat the Oil

  • Pour oil into a frying pan and heat to medium-high. It should be hot but not smoking.

Fry Until Golden

  • Add pudding balls to the hot oil. Fry for 1–2 minutes until golden and crispy. Turn gently to cook evenly.

Drain and Serve

  • Place on paper towels to drain excess oil. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm for the best taste.

Notes

  • Use ripe bananas for the best sweetness.
  • Don’t skip freezing — it keeps the pudding firm.
  • Use a mix of wafers and breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
  • Fry in small batches to avoid crowding the pan.
  • Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with caramel for a sweet finish.
