Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil softened
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 5 –10 drops vanilla extract
  • 1 –2 tsp water if needed

Instructions

Measure Sugar

  • Place brown sugar in a mixing bowl. Brown sugar gives gentle exfoliation and a natural, warm scent.

Add Coconut Oil

  • Add softened coconut oil to sugar. Mix well until it becomes smooth and slightly creamy.

Add Cinnamon

  • Sprinkle in 1 tsp ground cinnamon. Stir evenly to blend the warm spice throughout the scrub.

Add Ginger

  • Add 1 tsp ground ginger. Mix well to spread the spicy aroma in every part of the scrub.

Add Nutmeg

  • Add 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg. Stir gently to distribute the nutmeg evenly for a warm, festive scent.

Add Vanilla

  • Pour 5–10 drops vanilla extract. Stir until the aroma blends nicely with all the spices.

Adjust Texture

  • If the scrub is too thick, add 1–2 tsp water slowly. Mix gently until the scrub is soft.

Transfer to Jar

  • Spoon the scrub into a clean glass jar. Press lightly to fill the jar and close it tightly.

Label the Jar

  • Label with name and date. Keep the jar in a cool, dry place to stay fresh longer.

Use the Scrub

  • Apply to damp skin in circular motions. Rinse with warm water. Pat skin dry gently.

Moisturize

  • After rinsing, apply lotion or body oil. Your skin will feel extra soft and smooth.

Enjoy the Scent

  • Relax and enjoy the warm, gingerbread scent. Use 2–3 times per week for best results.

Notes

  • Use softened coconut oil for easy mixing.
  • Do not scrub too hard; sugar is gentle enough.
  • Store in a cool, dry place to prevent melting.
  • Add extra cinnamon or ginger for a stronger festive aroma.
  • You can substitute coconut oil with almond or olive oil.
