Instructions
 

Melt the Butter

  • Place a medium saucepan on low heat. Add butter and let it melt slowly.

Add the Flour

  • Sprinkle flour over melted butter. Stir continuously to make a smooth paste.

Cook the Roux

  • Cook the flour and butter for 2–3 minutes. Stir constantly to avoid burning.

Pour in Beef Broth

  • Slowly add beef broth while whisking. This avoids lumps and makes smooth gravy.

Add Seasonings

Simmer the Gravy
