Ingredients
  

  • Low sodium chicken broth – 2 cups
  • Cooked plain chicken – ½ cup shredded
  • Cornstarch – 1 tablespoon
  • Water – 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil – 1 teaspoon
  • Carrot – ¼ cup cooked and mashed

Instructions
 

Heat the Broth

  • Pour chicken broth into a saucepan. Heat on medium until warm, not boiling.

Add Chicken

  • Add shredded chicken to the broth. Stir gently so it spreads evenly.

Add Vegetables

  • Add mashed carrot to the pan. Mix well to blend with broth.

Make Slurry

  • Mix cornstarch with water in a small bowl. Stir until smooth.

Thicken the Gravy

  • Slowly pour slurry into the pan. Stir constantly to avoid lumps.

Simmer Gently

  • Lower heat and simmer five minutes. Gravy will slowly thicken.

Add Oil

  • Add olive oil and stir well. This adds healthy fat and shine.

Cool the Gravy

  • Turn off heat and let gravy cool fully before serving to dogs.

Notes

  • Always use low sodium broth for dog safety.
  • Never add salt, onion, or garlic.
  • Blend gravy for smoother texture if needed.
  • Let gravy cool before serving.
