Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb 450 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 cup cooked rice or noodles
  • 1 cup broccoli florets optional
  • 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers optional
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Green onions chopped for garnish

Instructions
 

Prepare the Sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger and sesame oil. Set aside.

Heat the Pan

  • Place a frying pan on medium heat. Add olive oil and let it warm up.

Cook the Shrimp

  • Add shrimp to the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink.

Add Vegetables

  • Add broccoli and bell peppers to the pan. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Pour Sauce

  • Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and vegetables. Stir to coat evenly.

Simmer

  • Cook for 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Stir occasionally.

Serve Over Rice

  • Place cooked rice in bowls. Spoon shrimp and vegetables on top.

Garnish

  • Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve hot and enjoy.

  • Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor.
  • Don’t overcook the shrimp; it cooks very fast.
