Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds chicken wings separated into drumettes and flats
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon chili flakes optional

Instructions
 

Preheat oven

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.

Prepare chicken wings

  • Pat wings dry with paper towels. Dry wings get crispier when baked in the oven.

Season wings

  • Place wings in a large bowl. Add olive oil, salt, pepper and smoked paprika. Toss to coat evenly.

Arrange on baking sheet

  • Place wings on wire rack. Make sure they are not touching. This helps them cook evenly and stay crispy.

Bake wings

  • Bake wings in preheated oven for 35–40 minutes. Flip halfway through to cook all sides evenly.

Make honey glaze

  • While wings bake, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar and chili flakes in small saucepan. Heat gently until warm.

Toss wings in glaze

  • Remove wings from oven. Transfer to large bowl. Pour honey glaze over wings and toss to coat completely.

Optional second bake

  • Return glazed wings to oven for 5 more minutes. This caramelizes glaze and gives wings sticky, golden finish.

Garnish wings

  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley or sesame seeds if desired. This adds color and extra flavor.

Serve wings

  • Serve immediately while warm. Enjoy sweet, savory and crispy honey gold wings with friends or family.
