Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops bone-in or boneless
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Pork Chops

  • Pat pork chops dry with a paper towel. Sprinkle salt, black pepper, and garlic powder evenly.

Mix the Honey Mustard Sauce

  • In a bowl, combine honey and Dijon mustard. Stir until smooth and well blended.

Heat the Pan

  • Add olive oil to a skillet. Heat on medium until oil shimmers and is hot.

Sear the Pork Chops

  • Place pork chops in the pan. Cook for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Add the Sauce

  • Pour honey mustard sauce over pork chops. Coat each chop evenly with the sauce using a spoon.

Simmer and Cook Through

  • Reduce heat to low. Cover the pan and cook for 8–10 minutes. Turn chops halfway through.

Check Doneness

  • Use a meat thermometer. Pork should reach 145°F (63°C) for safe and juicy results.

Rest the Pork Chops

  • Remove chops from pan. Let rest 3–5 minutes before serving to retain juices.

Garnish and Serve

  • Sprinkle chopped parsley on top. Serve warm with your favorite sides or salad.

Enjoy Your Meal

  • Take a bite and enjoy the sweet and tangy flavor of tender pork chops.

Notes

  • Use fresh pork chops for the best flavor.
  • Do not overcook; pork chops become dry quickly.
  • Stir sauce frequently to prevent burning.
  • Bone-in chops stay juicier than boneless.
  • Optional: add a splash of apple cider vinegar for extra tang.
