Ingredients
  

  • 2 chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 –2 teaspoons hot sauce adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 cups cooked rice or quinoa
  • 1 cup steamed broccoli or veggies of choice
  • Optional: sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken

  • Pat chicken dry with paper towel. Cut into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika.

Cook the Chicken

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken pieces. Cook until golden brown.

Make the Hot Honey Sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix honey and hot sauce. Adjust spiciness to your taste.

Combine Chicken and Sauce

  • Pour sauce over cooked chicken. Stir to coat evenly. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.

Prepare the Bowl Base

  • Place cooked rice or quinoa in a bowl. Make a layer of steamed veggies on the side.

Add Chicken on Top

  • Place the hot honey chicken over rice and vegetables. Make sure it looks full and colorful.

Garnish

  • Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the bowl for extra flavor.

Notes

  • Adjust the hot sauce amount for less or more spice.
  • Cook chicken in batches if your pan is small.
  • Let the sauce thicken a little for better coating.
  • Use any vegetables you like or have at home.
