Materials

  • Fresh aloe vera gel – 3 tablespoons
  • Coconut oil – ½ cup or olive oil as alternative
  • Vitamin E oil – 5 drops optional for extra nourishment

Instructions

Extract Aloe Gel

  • Cut a fresh aloe leaf. Scoop out the clear gel carefully. Avoid green parts as they are bitter.

Blend the Gel

  • Place the aloe gel in a blender. Blend until smooth and free from lumps for easy mixing with oil.

Heat the Oil

  • Pour coconut oil into a small saucepan. Heat gently on low heat. Avoid boiling or high heat.

Add Aloe Gel

  • Add the smooth aloe gel to the warm coconut oil. Stir slowly using a wooden spoon.

Simmer Gently

  • Keep oil on low heat for 15–20 minutes. This allows aloe to infuse without losing nutrients.

Add Vitamin E Oil

  • Turn off the heat. Add vitamin E oil drops. Stir gently to combine fully.

Cool and Strain

  • Let the mixture cool completely. Strain through a cheesecloth or fine strainer into a clean jar.

Store in a Jar

  • Seal the glass jar with a lid. Store aloe oil in a cool, dark place. Use within one month.

Notes

  • Use fresh aloe leaves for best results.
  • Avoid high heat to prevent loss of nutrients.
  • Use coconut or olive oil as gentle carrier oils.
  • Optional vitamin E boosts shelf life and nourishment.
  • Store in a dark glass jar to maintain potency.
  • Always patch test before first use on skin.
