Ingredients
  

  • 4 sea bass fillets about 6 oz each
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lemon zest and juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp thyme leaves
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions
 

Prepare the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This temperature helps the sea bass cook evenly and stay moist.

Season the Fish

  • Pat the sea bass fillets dry with a paper towel. Drizzle olive oil over them. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and thyme on both sides. Rub the seasoning gently into the fish.

Make the Butter Sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Stir well until blended. The butter and lemon mix will give a bright flavor to the fish.

Bake the Sea Bass

  • Place the fillets on a baking dish lined with foil. Pour the butter sauce over them. Bake for 15–18 minutes, depending on the thickness. The fish should flake easily with a fork.
