Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 2 fresh jalapenos chopped, seeds removed for less heat
  • 1/2 cup milk adjust for consistency
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Optional: 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese for extra flavor

Instructions

Melt the Butter

  • Place a small pan over medium heat. Add butter and let it melt completely.

Add Jalapenos

  • Add the chopped jalapenos and cook for 2–3 minutes. This softens them and brings out their flavor.

Blend the Sauce Base

  • Add the cooked jalapenos, cream cheese, and milk to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Heat the Sauce Again

  • Pour the blended mixture back into the pan. Cook on low heat for 3–4 minutes, stirring often.

Add Seasoning

  • Mix in garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and lime juice. Stir until well combined.

Optional Step – Add Cheese

  • If you want a richer flavor, stir in cheddar cheese until melted.

Serve Warm

  • Remove from heat and serve warm as a dip or drizzle.

Notes

  • Use fresh jalapenos for the best flavor.
  • For a milder sauce, remove all the seeds.
  • Add extra milk for a thinner, pourable sauce.
  • Use roasted jalapenos for a smoky taste.
  • Keep stirring while heating to avoid lumps.
