  • 4 Jidori chicken breasts or organic chicken
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mirin
  • 1 tablespoon sake
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare the Marinade

  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, mirin, sake, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Stir well to blend.

Step 2: Marinate the Chicken

  • Place chicken breasts in the bowl. Coat evenly with the marinade. Let it rest for 15 minutes to soak in the flavors.

Step 3: Heat the Pan

  • Warm a non-stick skillet or grill pan on medium heat. Lightly oil the surface if needed.

Step 4: Cook the Chicken

  • Place marinated chicken in the pan. Cook for 6–7 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Step 5: Check Doneness

  • Ensure the chicken is fully cooked and juicy inside. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).

Step 6: Garnish and Serve

  • Top with chopped green onions and serve hot.
