- Water – 4 cups
- Baking soda – 1 pinch
- Milk – 1 cup
- Salt – ½ teaspoon or to taste
- Star anise – 1 piece
- Cinnamon stick – 1 small
- Crushed cardamom – 2 pods
- Chopped almonds – 2 tablespoons
Boil Water and Tea Leaves
- Always use Kashmiri green tea leaves
- Do not skip baking soda
- Whisk well for proper color
- Use whole milk for creaminess
- Keep heat medium, not high
