Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded or chopped
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup plain yogurt optional for creaminess
  • 1 celery stalk finely chopped
  • ¼ cup red grapes halved
  • 2 tablespoons slivered almonds optional
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Lettuce leaves for serving optional

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken

  • Use cooked chicken. Chop or shred it into small bite-sized pieces. Place in a large mixing bowl.

Chop the Celery and Grapes

  • Wash celery and grapes. Finely chop celery. Cut grapes in half. Add to the chicken bowl.

Make the Dressing

  • In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, yogurt, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Stir until smooth and creamy.

Combine Chicken and Dressing

  • Pour the dressing over chicken, celery, and grapes. Stir gently to coat everything evenly.

Add Almonds

  • Sprinkle slivered almonds over the mixture. Stir lightly to mix, keeping crunch intact.

Chill Before Serving

  • Cover the salad with plastic wrap. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes for best flavor.

Serve

  • Place lettuce leaves on a plate. Spoon chicken salad on top. Garnish with extra grapes or almonds if desired.
