  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

Step 1:

  • Pat lamb steaks dry with paper towels.

Step 2:

  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, garlic powder, rosemary, and thyme.

Step 3:

  • Rub the marinade on both sides of the steaks.

Step 4:

  • Let the lamb rest for 20–30 minutes to absorb flavor.

Step 5:

  • Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 6:

  • Add a bit of oil or butter to the pan.

Step 7:

  • Place lamb steaks in the hot pan.

  • Use a thermometer — it should read 135°F (57°C).

Step 10:

  • Remove from pan and rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Don’t overcook; lamb is best slightly pink inside.
  • Let meat rest before cutting to keep it juicy.
  • Add butter at the end for extra flavor.
  • Use fresh herbs for stronger aroma and taste.
  • Marinate longer for deeper flavor.
